trancecore

one simple odd word, not really technically a word, but Trancecore.

Enter Shikari - Sorry you're not a winner

Enter Shikari are touring with Billy Talent in the UK.

I would definitely see them if they came here. It would be hilarious or overated.

Now two words:

New Baggy.
I am also so trying to get my head around this idea. laddish louts shouting about drugs and fighting. I am immensely enjoying The Twang right now however, I feel quickly I will be quite annoyed by them. I quite enjoy this comment about them in the guardian: "...so if you fancy watching a poorly-constructed "homage" to the likes of the Happy Mondays, Oasis and Stone Roses while having beer thrown at your head, catch them at a venue near you..."

They're not even attractive looking guys. Not like that's important but the artic monkeys and the view all of this, 'hey we're young' look to get away with their teenaged bravado.

Baggy was what the music, generally from manchester in the late 80s and early 90s was called. Manchester was called Madchester also. It's sort of a fusion of dance music and rock'n'roll with endless guitar riffs. Some examples would be The Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses and The Inspiral Carpets. It essentially set the stage for britpop.

STONE ROSES - SHE BANGS THE DRUM

THE HAPPY MONDAYS - KINKY AFRO
