I work one week and this is the first weekend? Bah. Well I've declared it English day in my house because of this over cast bollocks*. What does that entail?
- talking about Steve Coogan.
- listening to Oasis.
- reading John King novels.
- watching Shameless
- listening to BBC 6 - roundtable with Steve Lamacq
- watching Saxondale.
- and wearing my ugly union jack t-shirt.

I might watch some french films later.
Basically English day is me doing the same thing i do most days only fronting like this is rare. Cos the thing is I admit i have some ... alot of Anglophilic tendencies. and i am not that pround of them but i can't stay away from British TV shows or bands. But if i am at a bar and i hear some one talking about the Gallagher Brothers it really turns my blood cold. Oasis fans are creepy almost as creepy as quintessential British men - Wayne Rooney.

errr....cough....ummmmm.... Steve Coogan will you marry me?
Watched Tristram Shandy with the commentary , Rob Brydon and the Coogs. Funny guys. I like that they admit that the movie has many levels and is very deep but if you look to deeply into it than you realize there's nothing really there.
Than I discover the Coogs now has a new comedy show on the BBC. SAXONDALE. Have yet to see it but i am working my magic to attain copies of it.

So now i am kind of hoping for rain this weekend so I can watch Saxondale and Shameless episodes which will probably make me feel better about myself.
Anything to get away from this funk that has me watching Viva La Bam and Jackass episodes and day dreaming about Ryan Dunn. I pretty much watched Haggard last night. The shittiest movie ever. How old am I? I disgust myself.














Well better get ready to head to my week of work. That'll fill up my summer quota of activity.

so france lost. i was sorta hoping for them due to all the old men on the team. and than when Zidane headbutted that player from Italy so hard in the chest I knew in my eyes he was the player of the game. the ref however felt that he should be escorted out of the stadium.
Rooney for England and Zidane for France were the stars of the World Cup 2006.
